Spring Recital

The Spring Recital is a special event for the studio! It will be Saturday, April 29, 10:00 AM at the Rolling Meadows Library. Each student will play one, two or three pieces by memory. Please check your student’s most recent assignment sheet to see which pieces will be performed.

Video recording is allowed discretely from the back of the room. No flash photography. The piano will be available for extra pictures after the recital. Refreshments will be served afterward. Each family should bring a plate of cookies to share.

Students are asked to dress nicely. Be sure to invite family and friends! See you there!!

 Spring Recital Rehearsal

There will be a VERY important rehearsal for the spring recital. Students are required to attend. It will be Friday, April 28, 4:30-5:45 pm at the studio. We will discuss recital etiquette, play through the program in order and get out those recital “jitters.” Parents, this is very important for students. Please check your calendars now to be sure there are no conflicts. Thanks for your help in making this a successful day for your student!

Adult Musicale

Adults! We have a great time at the musicale. We have already been discussing pieces that would be good to share! If you have come in the past, you know what a nice time we have! The atmosphere is casual and we have refreshments afterward. Can’t wait to see you Saturday, May 13, 2:00-3:30 pm. Bring a small food item, savory or sweet to share. Bring a friend, if you like!

 Summer Lessons

Summer is just around the corner – June 5- July 28! Most of you have probably already started planning your vacations, camps for the kids and just looking forward to those long days of sunlight and warmth!! It is expected that students will continue with piano student during June and July. Summer is a great time for lessons because…

Beautiful music goes with beautiful weather!

  • Music makes you happy
  • Having a lesson keeps you playing the piano.
  • No school means no homework and you need to fill you extra time.
  • No piano festivals or recitals to prepare for.
  • You have a piece you’ve always wanted to learn.
  • It’s better than mowing the lawn or doing chores.
  • It’s air conditioned.
  • You would miss seeing Dixon!

There will be no lessons July 5-11 – Mrozinski family vacation
